Hallelujah, Nobody Cares Anthony Callea & Tim Campbell Sung Together

anthony-callea-tim-campbellPartners Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell recently belted out a tune at Carols by Candlelight and the response has been … well … wonderful! No one cared they occasionally hold hands on the couch or that they may sing a duet of The Prayer whilst showering together (either that, or the elderly ladies of Australia haven’t figured out they’re woolly woofters). Hurray for times, they are a changin’, and thanks boys for helping it along.

We chat to Tim Campbell about the duet and also about some pottery he and Anthony made that we recently auctioned on eBay.

Thanks for that boys. Philip, the lucky bidder of the pottery is actually a member of Anthony’s official forum….obviously a man with impeccable taste! ;)

Great to hear the reponse from the Carols duet was so positive…as well it should have been.

Actually, I think people cared a great deal. When it was aired by the media that they were going to do a duet at Carols, there were about 50 or so written comments made, most of which were very supportive. Hooray for Australia, I say.
To date there are three clips on Youtube of them singing the duet, with 5667 hits so far in one month and comments from around the globe.
I’d say, lots of people out there are interested and supportive.

Apparently about 30 people also bidded for the pottery pieces.

Thats great, and for such a worthy cause. Definately a couple of very talented lovely guys,
I am so happy that they are together. I loved the duet as well as their solo’s at the Carols especially Anthony gorgeous Ave Maria. I also saw their duet at Anthony’s Melbourne concert which was beautiful, and the audience reaction was fantastic.

Anthony and Tim are a beautiful talented couple who both do a lot for many charities. Congratulations to Philip who bidded and won the pottery Anthony and Tim made for charity.

Anthony solo of Ave Maria on Carols was the most haunting exquisite and beautiful I have ever heard it sung and Anthony and Tims duet on Carols and Light the Night was absolutely fantastic.

I have loved Anthony’s amazing voice has bought me so much pleasure and joy since the first time I ever heard him and Tim is also a fantastic entertainer and I love him on ” The Celebrity Singing Bee”

Thanks for the wonderful interview I always love to listen to both Anthony and Tims interviews they are always great.

I’m one of those ‘elderly ladies’, and I’m well aware that they are ‘wooly woofters’.

They’re also both very attractive, and very talented and both seem to be lovely people – they’re absolutely my favourite ‘showbiz’ couple of any persuasion.

Unfortunately Tim let the side down tonight at the Music Bowl. His performance was far from his best and very shaky. Anthony as usual was wonderful.
