Not many of us here in Australia have heard of Outback Steakhouse. You came to our attention when an American friend came here and asked us about it, and we shrugged and said “No idea what you’re talking about mate”. Since then we’ve done some research, and we now know that you are an Australian themed steakhouse restaurant based in Florida, USA and that you have over 900 store locations in 21 countries around the world. First things first; Congratulations on your success! You’re not affiliated with Australia in any way, but that’s ok with us. We’re happy for you to spread the good word on how great Australia is. But then we learnt something that is NOT OK. Sometimes you watch a film and it compels you to write a serious post on what is usually, not a very serious website. The film is Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner, a 1967 classic starring Katherine Hepburn, Sidney Poitier and Spencer Tracy. In this interview, she talks about her new album, her upcoming Aphrodite Tour, her boyfriend Andres Velecoso and provides some interesting insight into what keeps her [...] Adrian was a little worried about a couple lines on his face, and so we called in Dr Gold Coast (professionally known as Dr Simon Bernard from the Rejuvenation Clinic in Melbourne) to help out with a few Botox injections. Lock up your sons people! Happy April Fools! To celebrate, we manipulated Kylie Minogue’s More More More song and made it sound uncannily like George Michael. We then ‘launched’ it as a world exclusive to rave reviews from listeners and JOY 94.9 staff. Sorry if we fooled you!!
